Experience
Sarah Israel, MBA
Sarah has almost 20 years of experience in business operations, strategy, technology, and people-related projects. Sarah has consistently received feedback that she’s a “Jane of all trades” and “can create organization from chaos”.
Sarah spent 11+ years at Goldman Sachs helping to manage a business with 125+ professionals and $35B in assets under management (AUM). She also operated as the Chief of Staff to the Partner that ran the Midwest. While at Goldman Sachs she created a new suite of metrics and dashboards for the entire US Private Wealth Management business to measure their sales professionals. As an Associate, Sarah was selected as one of 70 global employees to participate in a women's leadership conference targeted up and coming leaders at the firm. After Goldman Sachs, Sarah went into the start-up world at Compass, the real estate brokerage and technology company. Sarah was the Director of Operations for the Midwest, overseeing three departments: account managers, software trainers, and transaction processing. Sarah was then selected by the COO to be his direct report to fix issues with their payment processing workflows. Sarah did a full build/buy analysis for payment processing software and then worked with the engineering team to create a full in-house payment software that rolled out nationally. Sarah was then recruited to LivCor, a Blackstone Company. LivCor is a premier asset manager of multi-family real estate in the country. Sarah created a Project Management Office (PMO) from the ground up allowing LivCor to prioritize and sequence their most important projects. Sarah was then asked to also take on technology projects and IT governance, allowing the company to cohesively select technology projects that aligned with their goals. After that, Sarah built an entirely new offshore presence for the company partnering with multiple vendors supporting various internal teams.
Sarah has her undergraduate degree from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business with a major in Finance, and her MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Sarah is a Certified Scrum Master.
